Step into this estate and find yourself, protected from the hustle and bustle but with the convenience of Riverstone Station and buses at your door step and the multi-million dollar Riverstone Industrial Park. Located centrally to ‘The Ponds’ (The fastest-growing suburb in The NSW), Cudgegong Road Station and Box Hill Shopping Centre.
The Riverstone East Precinct will consist of a mix of housing types that allows greater choice for different household types. It is predominantly accommodated with low density housing. Medium density housing is located around the village centre, schools and open spaces. Medium and high density housing is located in proximity to Cudgegong Road station on the North West Rail Link in the adjacent Area 20 Precinct, to optimise convenient living near retail, community facilities, schools, recreational facilities and public transport.
The new Cudgegong Road Station will become the transport hub for booming residential growth at places like The Ponds and western parts of Rouse Hill. Riverstone MP Kevin Conolly said the Cudgegong Road precinct plan included up to 4000 new homes. “People living in the new precinct will have great public transport services, with a train at least every five minutes in peak times at Cudgegong Road,” Mr Conolly said with reference to the station to be located parallel to Schofields Road, between Cudgegong Road and Tallawong Road. The station is the last one on the North West Rail Link, and will have a 1000-space commuter car park.
“With 16,000 square metres of retail space for new shops, restaurants and cafes and other services, the Cudgegong Road precinct will generate more
local jobs,” Mr Conolly said.
